Haüs Rules
These Haüs Rules apply during in‑person Haüs of Bliss events. They are practical guidelines designed to support safety, flow, and collective care in real time. They may vary slightly by venue or event but will always be reviewed or referenced before play begins.
Community Standards can be found here.
i. Consent is embodied, flexible, & dynamic
- Check in early and often — before, during, and after interactions.
- Use the Green / Yellow / Red system to communicate comfort, the need to pause, or immediate aftercare.
- Anyone may stop or change an interaction at any time, without explanation.
If something feels off, seek a Guardian immediately.
ii. Guardians are always present
- In addition to Lady of the Haüs, there are multiple trained Guardians present at every play party.
- Guardians are there to support safety, answer questions, and intervene when needed. If you need help, pause, or support find a Guardian.
- Guardians reserve the right to limit or stop play to support consent and safety.
iii. Consume responsibly
- Know your limits.
- If alcohol or substances impair your ability to communicate, read cues, or respect boundaries, you may be addressed through the Incident Protocol.
iv. Care for the space
- No bare asses on shared seating in living room or lounge areas.
- No food in play and dungeon spaces.
- Use provided barriers, towels, or coverings where required.
- Clean up after yourself and your scenes.
- No loitering in hallways or outside.
- Only smoke in designated areas.
- Be mindful of noise levels, especially in residential spaces.
Treat the space as shared, sacred, and lived‑in.
v. Closing time is a thing
When “New Apartment” by Ari Lennox comes on, it’s time to begin closing out scenes, gathering belongings, and preparing to leave.
Please help us close the night with care.
vi. Sexual health is public health
Different types of play carry different levels of risk, and expectations are based on what you intend to engage in.
- If you do not intend to engage in sexual activity or fluid exchange, an STI panel is not required.
This includes play such as: - massage or bodywork
- impact play
- sensation play that does not involve genital contact or fluid exchange
- If you intend to engage in sexual activity or fluid exchange, you must have a recent STI panel (within the past two weeks) and be prepared to share results directly with your play partners upon request.
This includes activities such as: - oral sex
- vaginal sex
- anal sex
- If you are asked to provide results and do not have them available, you may be asked to refrain from that type of play for the event and may be addressed through the Incident Protocol.
vii. A Final Note
Haüs Rules exist to support flow, not police pleasure.
By participating part of Haüs of Bliss, you agree to engage with these rules in good faith so that the space stays safer and sexier for everyone.
They apply to all members, regardless of experience level, visibility, or role in the community.
