Our Mission

Haüs of Bliss exists to create intimate, intentional spaces where Black professionals can experience a safer, sexier, and more informed introduction to kink and conscious pleasure.

How We Hold Space

B.L.I.S.S. is the framework that guides how Haüs of Bliss designs experiences, builds community, and holds intimacy. It reflects what we value and how those values show up in practice.

Black

Shared cultural context allows for authenticity, trust, and a sense of being understood so that members can arrive fully, without code-switching or self-monitoring.

Lavish

From environment to pacing, details are thoughtfully curated because quality is a part of care. Where and how we explore intimacy matters and luxury is a form of respect.

Intentional

Every experience is shaped with clarity and expertise. Expectations are explicit, learning is woven throughout, and community care is paired with community responsibility.

Sensual

Sensuality is about embodiment and the full range of our senses. Presence comes first by inviting people to soften into their bodies, attune to their surroundings, and experience connection beyond performance.

Sexy

Sexy is sexuality and pleasure explored without shame or apology. Desire here is chosen, consensual, and self-directed, free from coercion or spectacle.

The Origin Story

Haüs of Bliss began with a question I couldn’t shake: where was the space for people like me?

I wanted a place to learn the deeper principles of kink, BDSM, and tantra in a way that centered Black sensuality without flattening our desires into spectacle or fetish. I was seeking education, practice, and community across the full spectrum of intimacy, not just one expression of it. At the time, I couldn’t find a space that truly felt for me or reflected how I wanted to explore.

After years of engaging with lifestyle events and becoming deeply immersed in somatic and erotic education, it became clear that many spaces offered freedom and pleasure but not growth, structure, or accountability.

Haüs of Bliss was created as an alternative: intentionally intimate, education-forward, and community-centered. A place where people can explore adult pleasure while deepening their relationship to their bodies, boundaries, and each other.

When intimacy is held this way, it becomes more authentic, more empowering, and more fulfilling.

Some might even call it blissful.

Meet the Lady of the Haüs

Janelle Toussaint (aka Ms. Bliss)

I’m a trained sexologist, somatic practitioner, and lifestyle kinkster with a background in engineering and technology. My work — grounded in both lived experience and formal training — is guided by the belief that pleasure deepens when people feel informed, embodied, and supported by clear structures of care and accountability.

My training in sexology shapes how Haüs of Bliss approaches adult pleasure: through an educational, consent-aware, and body-centered lens. Experiences are informed by principles of sexual health, group facilitation, and trauma-aware practices — not just vibes.

My hope is that Black professionals see their needs reflected here and feel supported in exploring pleasure with confidence and curiosity.
